3 Symptoms & 3 Steps to Mitigate Gout
Take your health into your own hands with some lifestyle choices to enable you to experience more life and less pain & restriction.
Gout - What is it?
Gout is a type of arthritis, common to males, especially those who drink beer and have a diet rich in red meat and seafood. Gout is caused by a buildup of uric acid in the system, caused by the body breaking down purines. Purines are found in the diet we consume. The uric acid crystallises and is deposited in the joints - knees, ankles, hips and elbows.
3 Symptoms of Gout1. Intense nighttime pain attacks
2. Lingering discomfort & swelling
3. Limited mobility & use
3 Ways to Reduce the Impact of Gout
1. Drink the right liquids
Limit the amount of alcohol & fizzy drinks consumed & drink plenty of filtered water, especially in the morning.
2. Eat the right food
Reduce the amount of red meat and seafood and focus on replacing those proportions of your meals with leafy greens and anti-inflammatory food. The Brothers Green Hemp Seed Oil is anti-inflammatory and the Hemp Hearts can be sprinkled on various meals for a nutty, buttery texture. Hemp is a source of Omega 3 which is vital to reducing inflammation, especially important when seafood intake must be minimised for gout.
Exercise is free and has been proven to reduce inflammation and increase circulation amongst a plethora of other benefits. It is a medicine inherent to the human experience and the mere effort of 20-30 minutes a day of walking, resistance training, cardio or other low impact activities such as yoga or stretching will have a range of benefits for your health.
Drink water. Eat your greens. Take Hemp Seed Oil every morning. Walk outside. Lift weights.
